Features
Adjustable torque screwdriver with rotary slip mechanism is idea for various jobs allowing easy change of torque setting.
Adjustable type features external scale that can be set simply by twisting the body to line up with desired torque setting and then secured in place with black lock ring.
Hexagonal shaped locker prevents driver from rolling when set down on flat surfaces between uses.
Rotary slip mechanism prevents over torque.
User will sense and hear "click" at set torque and should then stop turning, if user continues, the rotary slip mechanism will ratchet the driver without applying additional torque.
Features Tohnichi's toggle clutch torque detection mechanism for enhanced durability.
Accepts standard 1/4" hex root shaped bits (sold separately)
Includes Certificate of Calibration from ISO factory.
NIST Certificates available upon request for additional fee.
Models available in SI, Metric, and American units.
Select model according to units of measure and required torque range.
Applicable for international use including the EU region. Compliant with calibration procedures of ISO 6789 Type II Class D.
Counterclockwise tightening model available upon request

Operating Instructions
Turn Locker clockwise to release lock.
Hold the knurled part of the main scale and turn the handle until the desired torque is reached.
How to set the torque
Turn the handle until the edge of the minor scale is lined up with the torque line of the major scale.
Set vertical torque line of the minor scale to vertical line of the major scale
For LTD1000CN, 2000CN, use the attached spanner for easy torque setting. (Hook spanner for RTD500CN/LTD is option.)
After the torque setting,turn Lockercounter-clockwise for locking.
Insert the bit into the adapter.
Start tightening operation.
RTD model slips when set torque reaches.
When reaching the set torque, the break is felt by hand in 15 degrees.Stop and complete the tightening work within the 15 degrees.
Use the plier to pull out the bit when the bit is tight.

Torque Set
Minor scale has 2cN􀉾m of one graduation, and moves 20cN􀉾m in one rotation. Making one rotation clockwise sets 120cN􀉾m.
Making one rotation counterclockwise sets 80cN􀉾m.
From the setting of 100cN􀉾m, turning the minor scale clockwise to the scale marking of 2 sets 102cN􀉾m.
From the setting of 100cN􀉾m, turning the minor scale counterclockwise to the scalenmarking of 18 sets 98cN􀉾m

Auxiliary tightening tool for RTD500CN can be attached (sold separately).
