Konica Minolta CM-26dG spectrophotometer

The CM-26dG spectrophotometer is the next generation of portable sphere spectrophotometer with an integrated 60-degree gloss sensor allowing distinct color and appearance measurements within one instrument. CM-26dG spectrophotometer horizontal alignment can fit into narrow spaces and is convenient for high-precision color and gloss measurement of smooth or textured samples.

With its lightweight ergonomic design gives easy operation to both right or left-handed users, with the optional Bluetooth™ and high-resolution TFT color display, the CM-26dG spectrophotometer is perfectly suited for applications in the field.

The CM-26dG portable spectrophotometer offers unprecedented accuracy/inter-instrument agreement (IIA), usually reserved for laboratory-grade instrumentation. This precision will allow superior color communication throughout the supply chain from supplier to final assembly.

The inter-instrument agreement of the chromaticity value (average for 12 BCRA color tiles) is within ΔE 0.12 for the CM-26dG spectrophotometer, an improvement of about 40% from previous models.

The CM-26dG spectrophotometer can switch between Ø8mm and Ø3mm measurement areas for measuring parts of different sizes. In addition, the CM-26dG spectrophotometer is equipped with an illuminated viewfinder for accurate positioning on patterned subjects or small parts. The instrument surfaces, which come in contact with the measurement subject, are designed to minimize subject damage giving repeatable results.

The CM-26dG spectrophotometer offers additional features to improve workflow, eliminate waste/rework, and offer customers general cost savings on color related processes.

Available as a free download is the CM-CT1 Configuration Tool software that allows users to create/write instrument settings as well as compile it into a file and share it within its supply chain to ensure instrument settings are consistent.

Being able to filter stored data based on additional information (tagging) as well as image-based workflows for easy and simple usage by operators with limited instrument experience, it sets a new standard for easy and fast data handling. Combined with a reduced measurement time, this allows users of all levels to maintain high levels of productivity, accuracy, and consistency.
