The RONDCOM 76 A is a universal CNC form measuring station with outstanding rotational accuracy. The high travel speed of up to 100 mm/s in all axes (R, X, Y, Z) shortens the measuring time considerably while automated CNC measuring runs enable the excellent efficiency of the RONDCOM 76 A. On the RONDCOM 76 A, the machine bed and columns are made of high-quality granite which also ensures accuracy and stability. Accurate air bearings in the X, Y, Z and rotary axes make this spindle form tester extremely reliable and low-maintenance. Even heavy workpieces can be fed in without any friction or disruption because the RONDCOM 76 A features an integrated anti-vibration table with active damping.

The RONDCOM 76 A is very flexible thanks to extensive accessories and fixture designs tailored to the customer's needs. The form measuring station is ideal for measuring tasks such as cylinder heads, engine blocks, crankshafts and cam shafts, and for highly accurate measurements on heavy workpieces.

Linear Drive
The contour and surface measuring instruments feature a patented linear drive in the X axis. Similar to magnetic levitation, the sensor hovers over a magnetic field without contact. Compared to conventional spindle drivers, the linear drive is faster, more precise and does not experience wear and tear.

Measure more accurately with play-free linear drive
To increase the resolution of the measuring sensor alone is a simple task. But without optimizing the structure and drive that moves the sensor, a simple increase in resolution is no improvement. Conventional drives are composed of a spindle, motor and linear encoder. Due to the nature of the system, there is a certain play that has a negative effect each time the system starts up and brakes, and in the reciprocating motion that is required for 3D topography analysis. The linear drive is constructed play-free. This allows high measurement speeds – exactly in the reciprocating motion in 3D topography analysis. Compared to other systems, the pre-travel can be reduced by up to 60% – this produces enormous benefits with narrow tolerances – even for short possible measurement distances. The play-free linear drive also allows outstanding positioning accuracy that is also required for topography analysis.

Seven times faster than spindle drives
The patented linear drive enables maximum measuring speeds from 0.02 – 60 mm/s. For topography measurements, SURFCOM completes measuring jobs up to seven times faster than systems with a spindle drive. This increases the measurement throughput and lowers the risk of interfering variables such as temperature drift.

Friction-free measurements with greater accuracy
The linear drive works without any vibrations: the measuring sensor hovers over a magnetic field without establishing contact or friction. The linear drive can achieve best-in-class Rz0 residual values of better than 10 nanometers. Friction means wear. The friction-free linear drive works without wear and manages without spindles and gears – spindle breaks and high maintenance costs are a thing of the past.

ACCTee PRO

One software, one report ACCTee PRO software features a number of software tools for checking surface parameters, contours and form features. All data for a workpiece are entered into the same document: measurement data, measuring conditions, analysis conditions, the CNC measuring program and the report layout. This makes it possible to export all relevant measurement data and graphics, e.g. roughness and contour data, in one report.

Easy Mode
In Easy Mode, the software guides the user step-by-step through all the main steps of a measurement: from selecting measuring conditions and stylus calibration all the way through the measurement.

Expert Mode – offline programming
The Expert Mode allows users to generate CNC programs away from the machine. This increases machine capacity considerably.

Automatic feature evaluation (Al function)
ACCTee PRO automatically recognizes basic features – point, line and circle. Depending on the selected feature, the program also shows a pre-selection of appropriate analysis functions.

Help functions
ACCTee PRO also contains an integrated help function that offers both contextbased explanations as well as an index and key word search. Furthermore, the software features mouse-over help with short explanations.

Self-diagnosis
In the event of an error, the software immediately provides the user with possible causes using images and short texts.

Playback function – CNC repeat measurement at the push of a button
ACCTee Pro offers time benefits of up to 40 % during the analysis because a repeat measurement can be initiated at the push of a button via the repeat function.

Simple re-evaluation
Re-evaluate without re-measuring: changes to the analysis settings and their impact are immediately visible (patented).

Easy plan/actual comparison Measurement data and nominal profile (IGES and DXF) can be quickly compared using ACCTee PRO. The actual data are optimally aligned using the best fit set-up. An aspherical analysis function is available.

Patented edge function Even when large part deviations in a serial measuring operation occur, the part is measured in the CNC operation. The real contour/edge is found and the real values are exported. False measurements, which occur with conventional methods, are not possible.

Tolerance analysis ACCTee Pro can perform a tolerance analysis for individually selectable parameters. The results are shown as an OK/Not OK symbol in the report.

Export formats for statistical evaluation Serial measurements can be exported and evaluated via the qs-STAT option or via Excel and CSV. ZEISS PiWeb offers comprehensive evaluation possibilities.
