The highly accurate RONDCOM 60 AS form tester combines precision, stability and efficiency. The air bearings in the R, Z and rotary axes enable excellent measurement of even the most narrow tolerances while the granite in the base, columns and the R axis ensures additional stability. The heart of the RONDCOM 60 AS is a precise, wear-free rotary table on air bearings featuring a rotational accuracy of 10 nanometers. The patented CNC offset probe holder can be aligned with the workpiece completely automatically and enables the measurement of otherwise difficult to reach features – even below the R axis. Automatic alignment in under a minute, a large deflection range and the stylus system's high resolution ensure substantial throughput with the RONDCOM 60 AS.

The RONDCOM 60 AS is a universal form tester for the analysis of roughness, cylinder form, perpendicularity, parallelism, straightness, flatness, coaxiality, concentricity, thickness error and radial runout. With an excellent rotational error of just 10 nanometers, the RONDCOM 60 AS is ideal for a wide range of precision parts that have a maximum diameter of 420 mm and weigh up to 60 kg.
Measure more accurately with play-free linear drive
To increase the resolution of the measuring sensor alone is a simple task. But without optimizing the structure and drive that moves the sensor, a simple increase in resolution is no improvement. Conventional drives are composed of a spindle, motor and linear encoder. Due to the nature of the system, there is a certain play that has a negative effect each time the system starts up and brakes, and in the reciprocating motion that is required for 3D topography analysis. The linear drive is constructed play-free. This allows high measurement speeds – exactly in the reciprocating motion in 3D topography analysis. Compared to other systems, the pre-travel can be reduced by up to 60% – this produces enormous benefits with narrow tolerances – even for short possible measurement distances. The play-free linear drive also allows outstanding positioning accuracy that is also required for topography analysis.
